Privacy Policy

Last updated 2026-10-13

TRIPBENTO PTE. LTD. (UEN 202401746W) operates this website under the name Amazing Shanghai. This policy explains how we handle information when you browse the site or contact us with a travel question.

Information we receive

From the enquiry form: your name, email address, optional phone number and message.
From a direct message: the details you choose to share with us and the contact details needed to reply.
From site analytics: pages viewed, approximate country, device and browser information, and referral source.

Please do not send passport numbers, identity documents or other sensitive documents through the enquiry form.

How we use it

We use your details to answer your question, continue the conversation you started, keep a record of that conversation and understand how visitors use this site. We do not add people who only made an enquiry to a marketing mailing list or sell their data.

Who handles it

Supabase stores enquiries submitted through the site.
Resend delivers enquiry email.
Vercel hosts the site and provides page analytics.
Google Analytics runs only if you agree to analytics cookies.
WeatherAPI.com provides the Shanghai forecast; our server requests the same city for every visitor without sending your contact details.
If you contact us through WhatsApp, Meta handles that conversation under its own privacy terms.

These providers may process data in other countries. We share information only as needed to handle your enquiry or where the law requires it.

Analytics and cookies

Vercel Analytics counts page views without cookies. Google Analytics uses cookies and loads only after you agree. Your choice is saved in your browser. Use Cookie settings in the footer to change it at any time.

Retention and your choices

We keep enquiry details while needed to respond and maintain the conversation, and delete them when no longer needed or when you ask us to, subject to legal obligations. You may ask what personal data we hold, request a correction or ask us to delete it by emailing info@amazingshanghai.com.

Security and changes

The site uses HTTPS, and access to enquiry records is restricted. We may update this policy as the site changes; the date above shows its latest substantive revision.
